Hope everything ok at ur end.
Well, as per your advice I have been waiting since 27 Aug 2010, after I received the reply from CHC London that " As the documents were post marked Aug 5, 2010, they had made it by the deadline"............then......NO PPR at all
Let me give u an epitome of my case..
-> Documents submitted & received 2nd AOR: early Aug. & Mid Aug. 2009 respectivel y
-> Med. Done.....18 June 2010......reached at chc-->28 June 2010
-> chc sent last reminder for ISF request....on 29 July & confirmed the receipt on 5Aug,10

My question is:
Shall I shoot a very brief email to inquire about the current status?

NB. I have a simple and clear history/background with no offences/crimes/wrong doings or attacments to Govt./semi Govt./ Army institutions.....then why is it taking too long.....over 13 months altogether now

PS: Actually, I really need to visit Pakistan as my whole district/city has been flushed awayby the recent flood

Give it sometime for your Security Checks to be complete. Some part of it would also need to return from external agencies (not a CIC activity) and that'd take time.

Usually by 3 months from the addnl docs one should expect the PPR. As your docs reached in Aug-2010, I'd expect something by Nov-2010. Anythig earlier, sure is a bonus!

Besides, ppl from certain regions r under tremendous security scrutiny, unfortunately. That's delaying their cases big time.

In my opinion, after ISF, they will ask you a fresh pcc from uk( and maybe a fresh medical!!!). once you send that, your PPR will be on its way.......This is what the CHC London did to my Brother ..( although his PPR came after 10 months of medical.........).
