Hi Qorax,

I received my Medical Request last July 13,2011.Before that,Canada Embassy Manila instructed me to update my settlement fund to cover the rest of my family members.Since my settlement fund is good for one person,I am the only one who apply for immigration and I will petition them later.

However,Due to the updated Proof of funds that my family complied,We decided to included the rest of the family to be accompanying. As of now,we are planning to undergo our Medical Test this coming friday. My question to you is it possible that I can still included my family  and pay the necessary fees?

U'd do your 'record of landing' @ the first Canadian a/port if u exit the flight [for a change over].

1. Don't send any query to your VO... have patience & wait.
2. A separate section of the CIC, its MIS cell.
3. Yes, your security checks r ON.
4. Meds r under review with Ottawa, as they 'second' the DMP's opinion - u'd have MR reflected on the e-Cas.
5. It usually takes 3-4 months to get the PPR,after the meds reach the RMO. U should be hearing from them by Jul-2011.

Good luck.

Qorax

Hi Capt.
Hope you are fine.
MR is still not reflected on e-Cas. Does that mean that Ottawa has not 'seconded' the DMP's opinion? It's August now.  Sad. Medical needs to be 'seconded' by Ottawa regardless of where the RMO is?
I have taken your advice to send the RPRF.
Please advise Capt.

Hi Qorax,
I'm landing to Calgary by September and i have small issue .
I dont have any friend in Calgary.. what address should i put in the immigration airport forms so that i can get my PR Cards? shall i put hotel address ? even if i will leave that hotel to move to a flat? can i tell the immigration officer to get the PR card from the airport as i dont have permanent address? please advice what i should do ?

because all know that i will stay for just few days in hotel then i will search for house so i cannot tell the officer what is my permanent address.

Appreciate any advice

Hi dear captan qorex,,,,,
I am a pre june 2010 applicant of the London vo. NOC 4131,college lecturer
My status is RBVO ,2nd AOR received in April 2011,
In the mean time I am planning to look for some new profession as i am interested in the areas like Nursing and welding,I want to get canadian education in one of these professions,my questions are
1  can i apply for student visa while my immigration case is on its way to be decided as yet?
2  At this stage can I get a professional education in Nursing/welding despite having Masters in completely different field i.e Education from a pakistani university? My age is 34 at the moment, did my MA in the year 2000.
3  could you plze provide some link for the admission websites of canadian universities/institutes to get admission in my areas of interest?
4 will it delay my immigration case ?
5 what will you personally suggest for me in this regard?
thanks in advance,
Ryan Niazi
