Hi Qorax, Will keep it short and simple. Submitted application : 1st June 2010 Medical Request : 16th April 2011 Medical Done : 22nd April 2011 Medical Received by them : 28th April 2011
My Ecas has not changed until today. It doesn't even say Medical Received. 1]Should I find out from my VO or leave it as it is? 2]Who updates Ecas? Local VO? 3]Does it mean that they are doing security check? Or not yet? 4]Or have they not gone through the medical results submitted? 5]Or else, how long does this process normally take?
Many thanks. Androse
1. Don't send any query to your VO... have patience & wait. 2. A separate section of the CIC, its MIS cell. 3. Yes, your security checks r ON. 4. Meds r under review with Ottawa, as they 'second' the DMP's opinion - u'd have MR reflected on the e-Cas. 5. It usually takes 3-4 months to get the PPR,after the meds reach the RMO. U should be hearing from them by Jul-2011. Good luck. Qorax

Good day Captain Qorax, I would like to ask how to answer the Schedule 3 Background declaration Question No. 9... My husband has a 2nd degree uncle and aunt Canadian Residents, do we need to tick the uncle/aunt box or just don't declare any relative, we will not ask for any points for this since its not permitted but I was thinking that this might affect our application for "misinterpretation", I do have the scanned copy of their Canadian visa and proof of residence with me.. I'm hoping to be enlightened with this problem..thank you so much

A few might-look-silly kind of questions regarding Schedule 1 Form...but I am really confused about these..so hope to get some help here..Qorax can u shed some light plz??
Q. 8- Personal details of mother Family name at birth -XYZ Given names - should these be her given names at birth or the current ones, as both are different??
Q. 10 - Education - Should the number of years for a Master's degree come under 'University/college' or 'Other post secondary school'? - Is it required to mention the dates and details of elementary education as the form asks for secondary and post- secondary info?
Q. 11 & 15 Personal History and Addresses I visited US twice for 3 months each on business visa with the same employer before coming here on work permit. Should I mention this information in personal history and corresponding address sections or can I skip it?
Thnx in advance.

Qorax*This process has been dispensed with since 26/6/2010, under MI-2. However, the system very much remain the same except that now the stage-2 docs r no more required - and should be sent directly to CIO-NS, as one 'complete advance' package.
