Hello Friends

I have heard there are many different kind of e-Cas status, for example:
e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office"
e-Cas: "In Process"
e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd"
e-Cas: "Decision Made"

I am 2004 Applicant from Islamabad.
Application moved to London CIC in April 2011.
Medical received in August 2011.
Medical Send in September 2011.

My e-Cas status has been "In Process" since 2004.

I also know there is PPR1 and PPR2 also.  There is Security check that also happens before PPR2 is issued

My question is when does status changes from "In Process" to "Medical Results Recd" or "Decision Made"

In my case does that means, CIC London has not yet received my medical or are they doing Security check or Huh

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

1. 'RBVO' is the 1st e-CAS... sometimes standalone, while at times 'inside' in-process.
2. 'In Process' is the main status, which also lasts the longest... means ur file is being worked upon.
3. 'MR' shall only be placed inside in-process once the meds r 'seconded' by Ottawa. And usually depicted when the security is also cleared.
4. 'DM' occurs when the pps r stamped, or [God Forbid] there's a rejection @ any stage.
5. 'Completed' is the last e-CAS status, denoting that u have 'landed' and ur PR card apps is being processed.

Note: How much time it'd take for me [to move from one to another] -- cannot be opined b'coz it depends on many factors & is case-to-case basis. Besides it should also be remembered that the e-CAS and our actual processing isn't in sync... the e-CAS being managed by a different cell of CIC, which awaits the input/s of the IOs & take their own admin time to work.

Dear Qorax,

SG CIC informed us to submit the update doc if any.
Would you kindly inform, after submiting the all updated doc how many days will SG CIC need to process the files?
Do you have any idea?

Sir

Visa office - NDVO
A friend of mine recently mentioned that in new year there is a new quota of Visas, hence my case, where I sent all PPs and meds by 23rd may take time. My status "In Process" is showing Medical Results have been recd since last friday. However, my friend mentioned that NDVO is particularly slow during this time and may take a little long time to send the PPS.
Is this true?
Regards,
Dinesh

1. Yes, with the new yr. the issuance of Visa [quota] has been reset.
2. With the 'MR' in ur e-CAS u could expect ur stamping in a couple of weeks to a month.
3. Not true.

would you please inform me if Syria is considered from the list of the certain countries that requires more background enquiries (additional working days to process) like pakistan and afghanistan

Thank you

Dear Qorax and other forumers,

Can you tell me is it ok that when   i sent my application in 2010 September  there was 19500 USD in my account which was equivalent to 20700 CAD as a POF for 4 people  at that time , but now it is  equivalent to 20100 CAD, can it be a  problem?
