Many professional bodies act likewise. U could submit a request to your univ. alongwith the requisite 'courier charges' and follow the despatch up. BTW, most accredited univs. would know the procedure & would play along.

Ps.: Sorry, I haven't hit that thread lately.

thank you sir......

Hi there!

I need your kind advices. I obtained a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences from Japan. Additionally I worked as a postdoc for one year. I want to apply in Canadian immigration. I want to know if they accept PhD research as a fulltime job. Would you let me know, please.

Thank you

Best regards

If it was full-time & 'paid' - it'd be accepted as a job for the 'points count'. Not for the 'eligibility' [in a NOC] though.

Dear Qorax Sir,

Pl review my details...
NOC - 0631
Visa Office - NDVO
App. recd at Nova Scotia - 29 March 2011
File no. generated - 28 April 2011
RBVO - Early June 2011
In Process - 23 November 2011
RPRF/Med/PP Request - 23 November 2011
Med Done - 11 Dec. 2011

I applied for myself, wife and son. In April this yr, we were blessed with a baby boy. Though I had his passports etc ready in time, I didnt send them in time due to work schedule. On 27th November, I sent his documents as well and 3 of us except our younger son went through medicals on 11th dec.
I recd a call from CHC on 22nd December and they questioned me about delay for my younger son's application. I gave my genuine response... that I had his passports ready and only due to work schedule couldn't send it.  I substantiated my explanation with the fact that his passport was made in time long back plus I had sent all documents in order including the updated Funds Proof. The exe informed me that my case was almost done and they were about to send me my passports by 23rd however they would now only send post medicals recd for my younger son for which they cannot give any time commitment. They informed me that I would be receiving the MR mail for him within 1 hour, which I recd and got his medicals done on 23rd December. Same day, I sent his passports as well. Our passports had already been sent on 4th December.
Since then, however, am waiting for any movement. Just wanted to ask, whether this delay on my end would result in a delay in receiving our PPs back stamped? Considering that the exe told me that they were about to send my PPs, I have been waiting for a good news as soon as possible, however, am apprehensive about the consequences of delay I made.
Any guidance/motivational thought from you? as you have given to many many till date?
Regards,
