Hi!

I applied first in may 2010 (pre june). Got my first AOR and 2nd AOR.

I applied again in June 2011 (post june). I haven't received PER yet.

In my ecas status when I use my first file number it shows my both applications.

1st application is "received by visa office"

2nd application is "application received"

I want to know will I get any PER for my 2nd application or any new file number?? or it will stay the same file number??

Can any body shed light on that? Whats gonna happen? Will they process my application faster as post june applicant or only consider my pre june application.

I have not received any PER for my post june application. My application was received there on 10 june 2011.

Regards and thanks much

1. The newer apps will move faster.
2. U r likely to have another file No.
3. But, whenever u'd log onto your e-Cas -- u r likely to see details on both.

Dear Qorax sir, thanks for your answer. Can you tell me if it can have any negative impact on both applications as I applied twice. Some one has posted the following in other thread. Please check.

canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/applications-after-266-in-any-noc-connect-here-to-get-the-status-t49421.39315.html

It says on CIC website that if the similar case is pending, do not file another application. unless you get denial on the first application.

Now the best bet is to pray that both application do not come to the same stage at any point during the process. Because if it happens, It'll create confusion and as we all know immigration department all around the world hate confusion and in most cases reject the application.

I would say, just pray. And InshAllah things will be fine. But if talk logically, things are not that straight. But God needs no logic.

There wont be any negative impact whatsoever until and unless information in both applications vary....

As Haral correctly opined -- u'd have no adverse effect filing twin apps concurrently. Each case file will be looked/assessed on it's own merits; & probably by different IOs.

Correct Qorax, no negative impact for twins application recent one will be faster as I know, but you have to pay initial fees for both application, it would be double expenses for copy notary and all PCC's, courriers etc.
