Purchase of 90 days Health Insurance in ON, Canada from India

Hi

I need help for purchasing first 90 days Health insurance before landing in Ontario.

Indian Insurance companies like ICICI  etc are offering only 60 days for Immigrants. Rates are quite good.

Canadian companies are offering 90 days but charges are almost 3 times.

Please share your experiences.

Contact Dan Pucher by e mail and make a deal  asking for a quote of lowest premium rate covering emergency medical. If you ask to include pre-existing medical condition if any,  the rate could be higher.

I suggest buy from canadian insurance company, for any emergencies it would be better. While in Canada contacting canadian insurance Co would be faster and easy. Indian companies would also have tie ups but you may have to pay first and then reclaim money and the same may not be easy.  Canadian hospital or docs do not recognise outside insurances.
