Once more we confirmed with this lawyer if there's any chance for him to stay until the sponsorship application gets approved. Based on his information, he's got "good chances" of not being rejected right away but it is for sure that if a decision has been made on his PRRA, their one goal would be settling down his leave from Canada, now or in some months.
As he is separated from his ex and we've been together for 2 years, he thinks it will be another good reason for them to delay his leave. He's got all his family members here in Canada, but he's the only one without status.
We're still asking for second opinions from other sponsors and lawyers and pretty much we are stepping in thin ice now.

I would like to know if some one has gone through the same process and see if there's some humanity in these officers or not.
