With the advancement of technology, I do not spend extra money on international calling.  In fact, I do not have any long distance calls on my phone bill between my husband and myself.  The reason being, I have a magic jack. Additionally, we also bought calling cards when I was not at home.  Moreover, my landline service allows me to make unlimited long distance calls to the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. I do not receive an itemized bill because everything is grandfathered in my plan (inclusive).

Should I just provide documentation (maybe a printout of my landline service) showing that its like a local call. What about my magic jack? If I'm called for an interview, do I walk with it?

Cellphone service is unlimited. Calls are not itemized because everything is grandfathered in (included). I receive a bill. I don't receive a call log for the month.

I'm not sure if I can upload txt msgs and print them out...Am I able to?

Chat logs and emails i can print out since they're on the computer.

Hubby and I communicate primarily via phone 3-4x a day since it's like a local call. No limitations. Sometimes I may use a calling card but that's when I'm not home. I also have a magic jack. I've had it since 2007.

Would the IO be suspicious? Do you think they'll say well how do we know you are talking to your husband?

Would love feedback!

I had a Magic Jack a while back when last in Canada and I do recall then there was a way to check your call logs, does it not still have that function? I was able to have records of all my calls.

Hmmm what does their website say about that...

You may check the recent calls log on the right-hand side of your magicJack softphone.

To access additional call logs and/or to export your call logs and contact list you may visit my.magicJack.com, log in with your email address and password, and click the tab named "My Contacts".

Have you done this and can't find them?

I didn't know. I'll log into the magic jack acct and check it out.  :owever, I hardly use the magic jack.

My landline is what we use most of the time and it's not itemized because I have unlimited calls to the US, CA and Puerto Rico.

I have pictures, support letters from family and friends etc.  I have to check the magic jack website to get the call logs. Unlimited plans do not have itemized bills....especially landlines.

I do have to try and upload text messages to the computer. Hopefully I can :-)
I also have emails and chatlogs saved.

I'm pretty sure you should be able to request call logs from your service providers. Just contact them and ask to send you call logs!
