Provincial Nomination expired on December 7th - will Buffalo return my package?

Hello All,

My application package reached buffalo on July 16th and check was cashed on September 13th. I still do not see any update on my case on CIC website. My nomination has expiration date of December 7th, which was yesterday. Now, I am wondering what will happen. Will my process continue or will Buffalo return my whole package back to me?

Hi,

Your check application reached CIC before the nomination expiry so you should be good. Check has been encashed another good thing that your application will not be returned for any reason.

Your process will continue. Its been taking about 5 months to hear from CIC after the application has been submitted. Pretty much all CIC activities have come to a standstill after Thanksgiving. Hopefully you'll hear something in January.

 hi potsan 'm New brunswick provincial nominee we have almost the same time line package reached buffalo 1st week of july and check was cashed on september 10, 2010 but my nomination also will be expire this december 11, 2010, still I haven't receive anything from buffalo,  already got my immigration file no. last month but I can't check through Ecas until now still can't access Ecas.......

our nomination expired last August but CIC did not return our application and it is still in process.

i think the expiry of the nomination only serves as a deadline for us to submit a complete application package to CIC. once we submit the application before the expiry, then the nomination will remain valid.
