Hi Everyone,

My "search" function is not working on this site so I can't easily see past posts about this topic.  Sorry if it's repeated.

I'm wondering what documents would be considered good for proof of returning back to home country.

A bit of background: BF(mexican) and I(Canadian) live together in Mexico (I just obtained my mexican visa) we want to travel to canada to see my family.

I am including his house certifcate of the house that he owns, a letter from his work stating that he has time off and how long he has been working there for, as well as the fact that he has a job upon return.  I'm including a copy of my FM3 visa to show that I am committed to living here as well.  I thought of attaching utility bills, and my plane tickets last year to come to Mexico to see him (I came 3 different times) - Was hoping to submit this along with our previous rental agreement to show the genuinity of our relationship in case that's at all questioned.

He has since sold his car in the last few months and doesn't have any other assets besides his house.  I am debating whether or not to pre-purchase a return plane ticket and include this in the application as well..

Any other suggestions would be great!
Thanks so much,
Shelly

If the application form does not require the plane ticket, don't buy one until the visa is approved.
