proof of marriage and cousin marriage is valid for Canada PR application

my question is simple but complicated

I am jennifer and I married to my father' real brother's son... it means he is my cousin. SO THIS MARRIAGE IS VALID TO APPLY PR SO I CAN CLAIM MY HUSBAND EDUCATION POINT???    AND

if cousin marriage is valid then which kind of document is required to prove genuine relationship as a husband and wife???


please help me out ...my consultant said that this relationship is not valid to apply canada PR??

Why would a marriage not be accepted if it is genuine?

CIC does not care if you are married to your cousin or anyone to that matter (irrespective of gender). I dont see a reason why you need to show that your partner is also your first cousin - Instead you need to submit the marriage certificate as valid proof .
This allow you to gain points for your partners education.

I am afraid the consultants are just proving to be utter shams

Marriage is the only concern for CHC that u need to prove. To whom and how is not important for them. Just share your marriage certificate and that's it. Gud enough to claim points.

And BTW, for immigration process, u do not need consultants.

If you are married then it is sufficient to prove the relation by submitting the marriage certificate.
If you have a common law partner , then you need to prove the relation by submitting as much docs mentioned in the CIC website ( photos,calls, mutual bank statement, home ownership etc ) - how else would they know if it is genuine ?

Relax and proceed with the application if you meet the criteria !

Dear..this situation pops up when CHC has doubts over authenticity of marriage certificate. If CHC has any doubt over the submission, they will specifically ask u to submit more evidence of marriage. Hence U do not need to prove by any other mean except marriage certificate when u file application. Do get it notarized.

thanks you very much to guide me....i am eligible for canada PR. but my spouse has no passport ..so if my spouse will get passport then they will doubt to see august 2011 date which is issue date of passport.. is it problem for me???

and i have not apply for marriage certificate my marriage was held in 1st December 2010 and i will apply for marriage certificate then they will doubt that marriage certificate has date may be august 2011 then it may be doubtful or not???

Again same answers. Issue date will always be different than date of happening. Marriage happened earlier and certificate issued late........no issue

Many ppl around the world do not have passports. We need passport when need arises. So no issue

Do not panic on the such matter and start process.

these dates dont matter as long as you have a proper marriage certificate issued by the competent legal authority.
