Parents are not dependents.

Think carefully before you apply. As they will not be allowed to goto Canada with you.
Read the criteria here, as to when you will be able to call them to Canada:

Your savings bank account statment will serve the purpose.
And any photo copy should be attested by notary.
FD certificates are not considered as proof of funds as that money is not with you at the time of submitting the proof.

THE FUNDS CAN BE IN YOUR NAME OR IN YOUR SPOUSE'S NAME

So you can use the FD certificate of your hubby as POF

You can claim your dependent's fund in the POF but there is a clause....You must accompany him/her.

If you do not accompany your husband in your application, you are not allowed to show your husband's fund as POF.

You cannot claim funds of your non-accompanied spouse.
