Hi,
  I just received the PR status for canada.Please clarify
1)How much Funds should i carry .Is it good enough i show the Fixed deposit certificate(indian rupee).If not how should i carry it.
2)how succesfull will I be if i start applying for Job from india.

1. If you are moving to Canada as FSW with your PR visa, you should keep the  minimum required funds which may be asked to show at the POE when you land there. It should be in the form of DD/TC/Cash according to your convenience. A fixed deposit in India  will not be accepted as POF. It is advised to convert the funds to Canadian dollar from India if you get TC and Cash. If you prefer DD it should also be Canadian Dollar.

2. I don't recommend you to apply for job from India because it will not be successful for a new immigrant.
