I've been to Canada twice last year and I thought of applying for a Student Permit when I got back here in the Philippines. My question is, will it be enough to just have 12,000 CAD in my bank account when I have a close friend who is willing to give me food and accommodation during my stay there? This is for a one year course at George Brown.

Hi,

In my opinion it is not sufficient. You may want to contact CIC directly and ask them.
