Dear Friends,

    I am planning to land in Canada soon, and concerning my landing i have a question to the learned forum members. Is it ok for me to carry approximately 1000-1500 CAD as cash and the rest in the form of a deposit in my european bank? I will be landing in Canada, stay there for a week and will return to Europe and move back to Canada for good during spring next year...so i cant afford to convert all my funds at my current european bank into Canadian dollars....will the immigration authorities accept the funds in an overseas bank during landing? any experiences shared in this regard are highly appreciated!!
