Hi, How much and how long should the proof of funds be in the bank when you're  applying for TWP. By the way, if I don't have enough money, can I use a sponsor as I have a lot of friends and relatives in Canada? Cheers Tongue!

i will suggest show your own funds because in work permit your finacial status is very important ,you have to show 10000 thousand canada dollar for one person if you have a spouse visa and have children in these case you have to given proof of 18000 can dollar in liquid funds ,if your friends or any relatives sponser you then still try to show your funds ,in work permit visa if case officer find out your finicial status is not very good to sport yourself and your family then he would not issue your work permit. in my friend case he got hrsdc lmo then still he got refused because of his finacial status ,case officer given reason to him that we think you will not return back to your country .so i strongly suggested borrow some money from your friend or arrange yourself but try to arrange aonly your funds .you can also check fund requirement in immi.gov.gc.ca
