Proof of Funds for extn. of study permit, urgent help please.

Hi All,

My daughter is applying for extension of her study permit in Canada after successful completion of her 1st two years. She is asking me that she has to show proof of funds to apply for the extension.

Please advise how to show the proof and how much amount should be, at least. Seniors please help.

Actually, this is about "Proof of Financial Support" not proof of funds. Please reply. Should I produce a letter for extending financial support to my daughter with a bank statement ?

I usually do this:
 
1) a letter saying "I will support my daughter with any financial needs in canada" kind of thing
2) bank statements
3)any other documents that shows your income or any property that you own :)

one of my friend applied for extrensoin with just specifying amount he has and he got extension in study visa, but yea i as i too applied for student visa extension i also gave the same documents waht AndreaSA specidied.. i havent recieved response yet as i applied late..
