Dear Seniors,

I will be submitting the documents in January-2011.

Regarding proof of funds, I have to show CAD$ 22,000/-. Is it better to show 2 or 3 accounts or to show in one bank.

I have saving account with HSBC Dubai, HDFC Bank (India). This both will contribute 50% of funds.

I am planning to have 2 more account with ADCB & Mashreq millionaire. So that I have split the investment in 4 accounts. Is it ok and safe.

While taking the "Balance Certificates" the dates will vary. I will taking in 2011. Is there any rule regarding the balance certificates validity or how old it should be....?

After submitting the documents, I will be withdrawing the funds from ADCB & Mashreq Millionaire. Will that be OK...?

Please advise.

Hi,

Showing 4 accounts is not a problem as long as funds are yours and not borrowed, remember one thing visa officer can ask you for the bank statments again at medicals time so make sure you keep funds until then the minimum which you are required to show.

Hi Ali,

You are right. My nephew has told the same thing. He had done thru Premiers and he had submitted only balance certificate.

But still I will go as per CIC policy when I have the Bank Statement for more than last 6 months.

Hi

The requirment is to show you have required funds and you can do this either by showing current balance certificate or a 3,6 months statement. Why statement because if you send statement VO will know that you have these funds for a long time and havent borrowed from anyone because if visa officer have any doubts he/she can ask for statements again at medical time, so if one have funds in the account for a while then better to show statement otherwise stick with the balance certificate.

They have written 44 months but it could be done before that depending on the case by case basis.
