Proof of funds and Goods to follow list if landing separately

If principal applicant and dependants land separately say in three to six month time interval, will the dependants also have to show proof of funds and submit goods to follow list? Or Prinicipal applicant only need to do this at the time of his/her landing?

Principal applicant has to land first and show settlement funds for total family.
