proof of funds and currency exchange
«

Dear Friends
I have been to my bank in England to ask them to give me a statement showing my balance in Candaian dollars equivalence , they replied that ' since your account in sterling pounds, we can only give you a statment in sterling pounds'. I do not know if I send these statements to the London office will this be sufficient, or that there is anything else I can do?
Thanks and hope to hear your suggestions

I sent my bank statement in USD, same history here but I include a print out from here:
http://www.xe.com/ucc/
So they can see how many CAD are.
Good Luck!

The official exchange rates are given in CIC website (Not the actual rates but how they calculate). So you can use the same rate.
