Hi manubobby,
In your case I think you might have already submitted the required information while applying for Provincial nomination such as:
1.Settlement funds: Applicants should have at least C$10,000 plus C$2,000 for each accompanying dependant. (If you don't have enough money you may apply with the support of your close relative, as explained below.)
2.Who is a close relative and what must they do for you to apply under the Family Support stream?
Your nomination package should include instructions on how to apply for your permanent resident visa at the visa office. Follow that one.
Hope you are clear now. If you again submit the proof of funds and relation proof, there will not be any problem. If they don't need, CIO will trash it. The visa office will definitely ask you any additional or updates details if necessary.
Hi Wilson,
Yes when I applied under MPNP, I did show settlement funds and my close relative is my sister, she needs to fill a form called Manitoba Affidavit of Support, which she did where in she mentions she would help me settle in Manitoba in terms of helping me find a job and with food and accommodation, she is not sponsoring me financially, I am supporting myself. But, the question is, its not that I have a problem showing the funds, I have over $10000 CAD in my account equivalent, I am just wondering as to why the document checklist does not say anything about providing those documents, and on the cic website they have clearly mentioned that no additional documents should be sent that are not on the checklist. But, at the same time I see people talking about getting the documents showing proof of funds, which is what confuses me, anyways, I have decided I will be submitting only the documents as per the new check list and if they ask for additional documents showing proof of funds at later stage, then I can submit that. Thanks for your help wilson. Highly appreciated.. cheers
