QORAX: If we open a account in HSBC in our home country (Pakistan) and deposit the amount equaliant to our POF in HSBC, the statment of HSBC is acceptable as POF at Canada Airport, and than we withdraw the same amount from HSBC canada branch.

If you search you will find answer on this forum posted by Qorax and others.
My understanding is (from this forum Smiley ), that its risky to take statements. Have it divided into Cash, and Demand Drafts or Traveler's cheques. I read that some were disallowed entry on the basis of only having Bank Statements.

So just play safe, if you have the money, just take Cash (half of it) and rest as DD/Trv cheq...I wont risk it.

Do you have a Canadian Dollar account with HSBC? If not then you cannot use your PKR account of HSBC for withdrawal in CAD. But you can open a CAD account (activatable in a branch in Canada after landing) with HSBC & use it as POF.
When you land in Canada, all POF's have to be in CAD only. The instrument can be anything convertible (DD, Cash, CAD account, TC etc.) not an asset.

No I have'nt CAD account but might to be open in CAD account in HSBC and take out the statement to show at the airport, but think may b it creat a problem at Canada airport, so may b I make DD/Travellors cheque (half of POF) rest of amount in cash...

Make sure you opened an account with HSBC Canada too while you are still in Pakistan.  Better yet, open both HSBC Premier accounts in both Pakistan and Canada and enjoy free transfer between the two countries.
