Proof of custody for children under 18?

Dear All,

I am submitting this question on behalf of my friend who is planning to apply for PR under the FSW program through London VO.
In the London VO's specific instructions , it is mentioned that an applicant needs to provide "a proof of custody for children under the age of 18 and proof that the children may be removed from the jurisdiction of the court".

My friend has 5 children (all are actually under 18), so what kind of "proof of custody" he needs to provide? Where to get this from? what it should say? etc..... Can anyone advise and/or share his/her experience in this regard.

This proof of custody is required for adopted children. So your friends don't need to provide this.

If your friend is emigrating without his/her spouse, then he has to prove that he has full custody of the children and permission to remove them from their country to Canada.
