Proof of Birth Date OPTIONS!

There are so many queries about birth certificates on the Forum.  Recently, on PAGE 2 of the thread, "N/Delhi VO...post-26 June 2010 applicants - lets get connected", Anil04_10 posted a letter dated 13 September 2010 from the ND VO regarding requirement for ORIGINAL transcripts.  In the letter, item 3 states: "YOU MAY PROVIDE PASSPORT, SCHOOL CERTIFICATE, RATION CARD OR ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT ISSUED DOCUMENT SHOWING YOUR DATE OF BIRTH."
I don't know if this is VO specific, but it may help others to know this.  Cheers.
