Good morning all!

I've logged into eCAS this morning to find that under the sponsor for permanent residence part, it still reads 'application received' but when I click on it to go into it further, it reads as normal that our file was received on X date but underneath it also now reads 'Medical results have been received'.  Please tell me this is a good thing and that London are now working on our file?

Thanks a lot guys!

Thanks Charlie!  I really hope we get PPR soon, it's been a VERY long wait!  Just another question; my partner is in the UK, so he will receive his visa once he enters Canada.  What about our three year old daughter?  She is here in Canada with me, does she not receive such a thing as she is under the age of 21, what happens in the case of minors?

Since he is visa-exempt, he will no longer receive a visa counterfoil in his passport, just his COPR documents.  Not sure how it works for minors, but likely she will also receive a set of COPR documents, and you could take her to the local CIC office for a landing appointment.

So from 'medical results received' how long does London take (on average) to email PPR?  I'm so excited that we're almost there!  Cheesy

Like you I also waited 3 months for sponsorship approval. I got sponsorship approval on january 4, my ecas status changed on January 6. It shows application received and medical result has been received. My visa office is singapore. I am sure singapore is not working on my file, processing time 22 months. As I know after approval most of the people's ecas shows the same status like you. But I am not sure about London visa office. All the best for you.
