Hello,

I have looked all around the CIC website for the answer to my question, but can't find a relevant answer. Maybe I'm just being stupid. I want to find out how long the processing time would take for a Skilled Worker who is in the new occupation list. I will be applying in the UK. Hope you can help.

Thanks.

Because it's a new occupations list, nobody knows how long the processing will take because nobody has been processed yet.  The list was only published a couple of weeks ago.

Oh damn ok. We are kind of left in the dark with this new law arent we. I saw someones post on here, he said 6-12 months. Maybe he meant with a job letter.

Well, they did kind of promise that it would be faster and their goal is to get it done in 6 to 12 months, whether is job offer or priority list.

Cool. I'm just going to send in my application as soon as possible and hope for the best. Also while waiting, I might get a job offer in Canada, fingers crossed, it would probably speed up the process even more. Where you from Leon?

I am from Iceland originally and no, I don't have your icesave money.  I immigrated to Canada as an FSW back in 2002.
