By "FBI records with fingerprints" do you mean that you included the fingerprint card with the FBI clearance?  It was my impression that the FBI doesn't send back your fingerprint card ... at least they didn't sent my wife's back!

We got ours. When I got my fbi stuff back it had 3 pages, and one of them (the middle one) was the fingerprint card. It also states on the cic paperwork that it should be included.

Hello,

My fiance and I are going through the same process and getting ready to submit all our papers on April 24th. We are very nervous, afraid, but we have hope and courage. Any advice? Tell me how it goes!

Weird, the FBI's site says that they no longer return them:

Quote
7. Will my fingerprint card be returned?

No. Due to concerns related to the protection of personally identifiable information, fingerprint cards are no longer being returned either for a “no record” response or with an FBI Identification Record.

Any questions regarding this matter should be directed to the CJIS Customer Service Group at (304) 625-5590.

I guess I'll just cross my figures that everybody is aware of this in Buffalo...

Hi jckovacs:

Could you please let me know where in the CIC paperwork they mention to include the fingerprint card?
As mentioned by another poster, FBI does not send it anymore, so I don't understand how Buffalo could ask for something we cannot get... Thank you in advance for your response.

Sorry I don't have anything to post here, I was just wondering how you got that CA flag and posted it there. That is cool.

Just an FYI,  you don't have to order your fingerprint cards from FBI you can get them at your police station, like in a city.

Or you can print the form out yourself too.  Roll Eyes

Hi Chess101:

I guess there are a variety of ways you can get a copy of your fingerprints. But my point is, it is NOT sent by the FBI and I don't recall reading in the Guidelines that it should be included... That is why I asked if someone could point me to where such a requirement was written.

@  Love_Young, thank you for liking the  flag  Smiley it is really no big deal, a little creativity is all it takes.

I don't remember it ever need to be included in the package. I do know that a fingerprinting card is required BY the FBI in order to process the record of the individual, but I don't remember it being required by CIC.

Can anyone elaborate, confirm, deny this?
