I applied in March2003.Is there a limit to the processing time or does it just depend on somebodys whim
My passport is with the CHC since June 11, .

I would say this is pretty long time.. why cant you try your luck again?

Hi,

You can mail CHC and enquire about the status on your application.

I applied in March2003.Is there a limit to the processing time or does it just depend on somebodys whim
My passport is with the CHC since June 11, .

yeah but do u know what is the max time for which thy can keep our pps.........its been abt 4.5 months.......n now it will be winters so we wont be able to go

nooo we sent our application in 2003 but we sent our passports in june......is there tim limit to how long they can keep the passports

Passport is a Travel Document and should normally be in your possession. Since Passport Request is the last step in the process, it should have been returned to you at the earliest. It makes no sense to keep it with them for such a long time. I suggest that you e-mail or write to them.
