Is there anyone who landed on the 3d of December and received the PR card?
I am still waiting for it.

it looks like after the holiday season all the process is delayed. I'm almost sure, you will receive your PR card coming week.

Hi guys ,

I am also going to go for my first landing in canada after my immigration . what if i told them ( immigration officers ) that i will be back to my home country within two
weeks so please provide mme my PR card quickly ... do they facilitate me on this ?

No, there is no expedited processing for the initial card.  PResently 39 business days.

Hi senior members,

Just wondering what is the current wait time for the PR card in your experience? CIC says 33 business days, so a couple of months, is that true or way off?

Probably as accurate as anything.  Don't forget to factor in mailing days as well.  So about 8 weeks with holidays and mail factored in.

To anyone who has successfully gotten their PR card,
The photos specification states,  the date at which the photo was taken must be digitally printed on the back side of the pictures. What did you all do for these specification?
We are unable to find anyone who has the facilities to do that.Does anyone know of any place in US to do that?

Landed in July and got a letter last week that the photo is not upto spec ... go figure.  Huh
