Processing time in Visa Offices
«

Guys,
People who recieved the 2nd AOR from VO , Let's share the processing time mentioned in the Acknowledgment letter and compare it with the processing time to the VO whivh mentioned in the CIC website.
We need to cmpare between both becasue Visa offices are not following the same schedule, and they are doing what they want which is not clear and fair.
For my case Cairo VO mentioned in the 2nd AOR 24 months for processing , and in CIC website is saying 11 months !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is a huge differencr between both.
by the way am talking about the applicantions received after November 28, 2008
Please share with me , we need to know is that happened in all the VO or it's just in specific offices

same with damascus. CIC website shows around 6-8 months; CHC letter says wait up to 1 year; and mostly in reality it takes over a year to hear from them!

Guys please take note of the fact that time mentioned in CIC website is based on averages of all the applications submitted in the specific VO..while VO`s letter is based on approximate time it will take to process your app. the can close your file earlier than that as well. all depends on the quality of your app and background checks and their work load.
