Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Guys,
I had 2 lines something like below. It disappeared with in 2 days or so. However, my wife got visa with in 10 days after these change happend.

Sure, you will get it soon. I think 2 of us got something like there here and both got visa by this month. So you guys will get it soon T7 and Suganya.
Tell your man to keep the cell/phone with him all the day time. Even on friday.
Is he in Jaffna?

In colombo now. tks Watnxt...yes, he always keep phone switched on specially past eight months...ha..ha...still I cant be happy...i saw Shif0's status changed in May but her man  got visa in July...anyway we are in process...hope Mel and Rathikas ststus also same as ours...why silence girls

hey watnxt how are you? i am going nuts...knowing that he has to go for an interview but no date up to now....dont know what questions they may ask? his meds expiry oct 10...the lonelyness is killing me..i pray that everyone going through long process will end and get the visa and reunite with their loved ones.........god bless

OMG...Watnxt...i'm not. I feel how relax you feel after getting visa. But for me still its not a  matter to be happy...as Rathika says may be interviews and so on...no sleep thinking those...Rathika, I wish at least your status will be changed as ours. I always pray for you.

Hey Everyone,

Looks like the guys are getting the visa and the girls are still trailing behind Hmmmm... I just wanted to drop a line and say that we should all stay strong. Think about it, all of us that applied in 2010 will for sure get the visa before the end of 2011. Tomorrow is the start of September and then there's just 3 months to go before the end of the year.

I am positive we're all going to be getting some news within the next few months. So please don't sit around sad. I know its tough, but here's an idea. Instead of worrying endlessly, go out and get stuff for your partners. I got simple things like socks, deo, perfume etc so that I was prepared for when he got here. I even got a toothbrush I know it sounds lame, but it does help to do that so that you know you are getting ready instead of sitting around feeling helpless.

Also as a reminder, everyone seem to be getting their visa before a full 10 months has elapsed from the time the file gets to the Colombo office. So if that's the case then, we should all get some good news soon. So again stay strong and keep yourself occupied. Don't fret around and cry and freak out because you are not doing yourself any good. When you feel upset, talk to your partner and I assure you they will make you feel better. Surround yourself with good friends and family if you can and they will also help you get through it.

For the person that applied in July - Be strong since you are just starting your journey. The hardest part is yet to come. So good luck and I wish you all the best.

HI GUYS HELP !!!! WELL MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE EMBASSY THIS MORNING TO ASK WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THE FILE....SO THE GUY SAID THAT THE FILE IS WAITING 4 A OFFICER TOO VIEW..BUT I DONT GET IT CAUSE THE LAST INFO THAT I GOT FROM THE MP WAS THAT THEY WANT TO HAVE AN INTERVIEW AND THAT THEY WILL LET MY HUSBAND KNOW WITH THE DATE AND TIME..! TODAY THEY SAID THAT ITS WAITING 4 A OFFICER TO VIEW...I AM SOOOOO CONFUSED...   AND ALSO MY HUSBAND TOLD THEM THAT HIS MEDICAL EXPIRES OCTOBER 10TH THEN THE GUY SAID NOT TO WORRY UR MEDICAL IS VALID TILL JANUARY 30 2012 HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WE TOOK THE MEDICAL OCT 10 2010 AS FAR AS I KNOW ITS VALIAD 4 A YEAR ........AND HE ALSO SAID THAT THEY HAVE RECIEVED THE UPS PACKAGE OF EVIDANCE WHAT I SEND FROM HERE WITH MORE PIC,CHAT LOGS ,AIRLINE TICKETS BOARDING PASS...ETC..

hey guys i have an update....i woke up around early in  the morning around 4:00am and i had three e-cas tracker...i was so excited jumped off my bed to check.........i loged in it now have two line sponsored person xxxxxx and sponsored application status one line in process the other line in decion made when i click on decision made its says we recieved ur application husband name xxxxxxxx on december 3rd we started to process it on jan 06 made a decision on the jan 10th 2011 please consider details in the mail blah blah......when i click on the  in process line its saying that  we recieved your application for perminant residents on the 17 of jan 2011 and we have started to process ur application on january 17 2011....but  now the medical have been recieved part is disapearing........but even when i was there i was visiting the embassy so many times they told me that the file is being waiting for an officer to veiw ....till yesturday even my husband went to embassy thay said the same thing with in 6 hours the e-cas is showing processing .....wow.wow.wow i am so happy cause i was checking e-cas for over 7 months and now an update..... and the other updae from MP was that they want to have an interview for my husband but on the update their is nothing saying about an interview .... is that a good sign...so now guys my question is can that be an erro with the e-cas cause so many people are having problem ? if any one has this kind of e-cas please let me know what happend i dont know what is coming next  hoping it will be the visa please reply.......
