Finaly....we received PPR call today. It took almost 10 months to get there... Since I married in SL we got PPR in 10 months...if it was Canada then I might be Baby girl?

My wife attended the interview yesterday, in which many questions were asked, mostly about myself. One bizarre thing was that the Canadian embassy officer in Colombo called me at 1 am in the morning to interview me, while my wife was attending the interview, to verify few things. And my interview with the official lasted at least 40 minutes. Since my marriage was only registration one as I intended to keep the traditional marriage in Canada, where most of my relatives reside, the interview was an intense process, at least, for me. And end of the interview, my wife was told that she will receive a mail in 2 or 3 weeks, if they need any further details.
I'm not sure how long it will take to get the visa after this interview.

CSpouseVisa, PPR - Passport requested. So we received call from embassy and asked my wife to bring the passport.
Rathika, did you check with MP? I strongly believe he/she can help you now.
Waiting, when did u apply? I did in Oct 2010

congrad bro u did it = D.. yesterday my wife went to the embassy & they ask her to fill sum info abt what she did after her education...then they syd they will call her later sofar thats it hopping to hear sum good news near future =)

hey guys i went to the mp on tuesday and she called me back today and told me that they god a reply from the embassy ..........that they want to make a date for my husband for an interview.....i dont know what they going to be asking from him can u guys help me out what they will be asking him........pls i need ur help at this time so that we get prepard for the interview thanks guys for ur reply...........god bless........

Hi Rathika...Sorry I keep missing your Skype calls....in regards to your question, I am very sure Cspousevisa will be able to answer the question. My aunt's friend's husband also had an interview. I will get with her and update you. It'll take a day though. When is your interview? Have you got the date?
