we got a request for another copy of the aussi police record that we had already sent and submitted that Jan last week... When hubby went into drop it off, he was apparently told that the process takes 4-6 months.. we're hoping he will be here by july at this point...
June would be nice because that way we can celebrate our 1st wedding anni together, but i dont think they care. and if it is july, we gotta re-do the medicals because they expire at the end of june... totally sucky situ! sad but hanging on..

I think you will get by June. My friend said 2 months ago that "his wife's birthday is in Feb and she will get visa before b.day". He was right. She got the visa just 2 weeks before her b.day.
So I think it will work out for you too. Mine is on Aug, so need to wait for 6 more months?

hehe.. no no.. i think may june for u!! hey when did they start the process for ur friend's wife??
i'm sure u will get it in like 8 months max. august is too long.. even for them... i've heard ppl say that if it's from the north they do it in max a year if there are no issues.. but depends i guess.

Thank you, I know many of my friends, from north, got with in 4 months. Same as you said, its depend.
I guess colombo received my friend's app in June or something. I dont remeber the exact date.

yeah i had a couple that got it in 4 months too.. and rathika's brother's wife got it in 4 months too.. but things have changed and they are always chaging in that office!! aggghhh!!  i would be over the moon if hubby gets it in March! i will go to every church and temple in toronto and ontario and all of Canada if i have too thanking god for letting him come so quickly! |
