Why did you get a medical request? did your husbands medical expiry? if so, when did it expiry? why dont you ask your husband to visit the colombo embassy to ask for updates?

Hi Buddies, It is not under skill worker spousal visa category. My husband and daughter are processing under family class visa. In this case, we alrady submitted PCC with the application and later they requested undergo the medical. He went to inquire many times but they say still chek background. Hi CMB girl,
Why did you get a medical request? did your husbands medical expiry? if so, when did it expiry? why dont you ask your husband to visit the colombo embassy to ask for updates?

hi guys sorry for the late reply as by hubby came to sl and left only yesterday so didnt use the computer till he was here . my interview on the 14th was postpone on the 26th june and i pass the interview but my medical had some issue and they wanted me to take few tests in may the results will come only end of this month still then my visa is pending they said at the interview as my medical is expiring on the 3rd june as soon i gte the test results i will have to do remedical and i will get my visa soon. hope everything happens soon

the interview was about for 30minutes they asked about my hubby details and his parents details and who is his best friend and hubby's hobbies work education etc

So does that mean, they know what your husband's hobby is and who his friends are? how do they know if ur saying the right answer? or did they call ur husband and verify too?
also, just wanting to clarify, if your medical dint have any issue, they would have granted you the visa before your medical expiry date right?
can u tell us more about the interview? is it scary or intimidating? did u feel like they are looking at you as if you were not telling the truth?
Do you have any idea why they wanted to interview you? did they have any doubt about if your marriage was genuine? please excuse me for asking so many questions...i do this because i have no idea what to expect as i havnt heard anything from them and im not sure if they'll just issue the visa or go through the whole interview process or if i have to wait past the medical expiry date

I have sent my application in Canada on the September 2011. my husband didnt get any reply from the Canadian embassy in Sri Lanka. can someone tell me what's the reasons for this delay.
he have sent the selection certificate also and I have paid all the fees in Canada.

Wotz up girls? My Medical expires tomorrow. I visited CMB office to inquire about my file status a week ago. They were like " Your file is still in the Que to be reviewed and we will contact you later" I don't think that they are gonna call me for re-medical very soon. I guess they will take another 4 months to review the file because the way they reply seems ridiculous. I don't think that visiting CMB office just for inquiring is not worth coz they just read the computer screen to tell us that the file is in the flicking Que. It's been 7 months since received AOR and I haven't got any reply from CMB office yet. I m hopeless.... Wotz going on with u Vaali? My husband sent them a normal medical.
They didn't ask for the original one yet.
I am really worried about it.
I am here with him in Sri Lanka and I left my studies in Canada.
I am very upset. Since october 2011 I am here because I got married in January 2012.

I don't know wot u mean Canadian parrot.. Wot u mean by normal medical? coz normally family visa applicants send medicals with applications. Woteva.. they ll call you for the medical soon. No worries.. Btw, Some earlier applicatns advice that staying with spouse for a long time in SL is not a good idea, so you better think about ur stay. when did u send ur spouse's application to missisagua? Did u attach ur marriage certificate with the application?
