As far as I know it starts from the moment you send your docs to Buffalo. Would mean to us we have to wait at least till end of the year and we might need to extend our WP again  |

The time starts when they issue you 1st PER, or in other words the Processing time starts when your VO issues you with AOR.
But I think it is from the date of your PER.

y name is vinod and i applied in feb 2011 and i got per frm cio on march 2011 and from 9th april 2011 my status is RBVO my visa office is london and i m a indian citizen ,,, can any onetell me how much time it will take to finalize all ,,, because my visa is expire in jan 2012 ,,, what should i do ? should i wait or change the visa office please suggest me

I do find that the numbers listed for application processing time in the table not accurate, I look at Damascus - Syria processing time and they say 9 months, most of the applicants here if not all (Including me) have been waiting for more than 12 months with no change at all, not even medical request.
So my advice, those numbers are not accountable, and do not build your expectations on them.

i am a bit confused here.....it says 'Application received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25 2010'. If an application is received from June 26 to date, is it bound by this processing time, as CIC has clearly stated the time frame.
