My file is in process since Sept. I still haven't heard from CIC.
Last week, they said my file was with a visa officer for final review and that I should receive an email shortly. Not sure what shortly means. Anyway... I guess, it all depends on the criminality and security check. Usually that's the one that takes the most time.
