I am a silent regular visitor of this forum. This is the very first time I am requesting information. Hope I will receive right info as I did receive so far. I have submitted my old and new passports and RPRF fee as per the request of CHC New Delhi. I am very much interested to know the process CHC New Delhi follows from receiving passports to Visa stamping.
Also, can anyone tell me approximately how much time CHC New Delhi will take to return my passport with the Visa?

As per my information, CHC-ND doesn't take more than 4 weeks to return the passports.

You are not to send your medical reports to CHC. The DMP will do that for you. You only need to send the passport(s) along with RPRF after getting your medical done.

I have posted it on 4th Nov 09 and they received it on 7th Nov 09. Sent through Indian Speed Post. No Idea about the waiting period after that but some one in this forum mentioned that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get it back.

I submitted on Oct 21... My medicals were done on Sep 7. I'm still waiting for my passports.

My worry.. I'm in US and my passports are in India...
even worrisome... my project just got shortened and I have to travel back to India in December-end...

really dont know what to do...

any suggestions

Hello Aanbaan - It is really nice to c ur message after a very long time. Just a couple of questions to you.

1) Did you inform the CIC - NewDelhi via email that you have finished the Medicals on such & such date and did dispatch ur Passports on such & such date? Looks like, it is needed. If not, may be you need to do it now. This is as I read from the forum.

2) Is there any change in status in the website..... like, "Medical Results Received" or "Decision Made" or anything else?

It has been a month since you had submitted your Passports. Considering your NOC-0213 (which is really quick), you should have got your PPorts back at this time (i.e) in a max of 4 weeks. This is as per the forum members input.

Please let us know. waiting for your reply.
