I'm currently in the process of applying but I'm abit confused about what forms to fill in. It says there are 2 forms to fill in, the iec form which I've done and then the application for a work permit form. But upon reading the work permit form, its asking for my details of employment when I'm over there, job and and employer contact details etc and also my details of work for the past 10 years and also all my family details. Is this correct? Do I have to fill in this form also? As it doesn't seem right

I had filled in all those details which you mentioned and I received the visa with no problem. Just write everything you can, except those columns where it asks you about employment in Canada since you don't have a job offer.
