Problem after getting visa

One of my ex colleague got his visa and within few days, CHC Dhaka called them and said that ur money  from IFIC bank is not debited to our account.
So u need to return passport+COPR to them.

Do any one know about this issue?

What means by Money?  you mean RPRF?

I am surprised how they issued visa before clearance of RPRF, anyhow, If they are asking for return of passport and COPR (which sounds strange too) , he must make another RPRF check and submit as soon possible along cover letter for a new check. Just my personal opinion, wait for seniors reply.

What they gonna do if you friend already landed, its really strange.

There could  be an error by oversight  with the Immigration Section staff. Thus the visa was issued inadvertently to your friend. As the visa office requested for return of passport and COPR he should return it accordingly.  He should inquire the reason for not paying the amount, with the bank from where he purchased the demand draft for RPRF.

I think your friend should ask them if they should re deposit the money again,if that is the problem. This is so strange.

My friend I am not from Bangladesh. I haven't heard like that before.

But there can be three possible cases.

1) If your friend has given them a bank draft, that bounced back. He immediately need to check with the Bank draft issuer.

2) Like wilson said , PRR was wrongly issued by mistake so they are asking for the return of passport and giving that excuse that money wasn't debited

3) Your friend purposely given them a bounced draft.

It is my sole opinion and it can be wrong

another fact I can share with u. ific bank's agreement with HSBC has been closed at end of last year. I've sent a draft thru ific bank for my new born on 1st week of oct which they (chc) returned to me on 2nd feb as faced prob to encash due to account closed with corresponding bank at Toronto.

Looks like there will always be tension even after getting Visa. Rejection can happen at any stage before landing.

Ripon, what is the status of your friend now. He returned his passport and CORP's?? Did they ask him to send a new draft for RPRF.
