while checking e-cas i noticed the two tables on the bottom of the page :

The following tables will help you understand the status of your application.

Application for Permanent Residence for Family Class Members Living Outside Canada

Application for Permanent Residence in Canada - Spouse or Common-Law Partner of a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident 


which table applies to me? iam in an outland application?

What is your status first? are you in canada ? your spouse outside canada?
then its the 2nd one.

If the Spouse is IN canada and the SPouse is Applying for Permanant resident then it is the 2nd one.

my wife is psonsoring me from canada but iam applying thru a visa office
so i guess i for the 1st table!

aboujassem ur case is like mine ur wife is sponsoring u from canada and u are in lebanon or syria so the first one applies to u

oh yea she did on nov 17 and the embassy in damascus sent me AOR on nov 25

boujasim it would definitely be the first one - Application for Permanent Residence for Family Class Members Living Outside Canada

Basically, the first one is if the Prinicipal Applicant (person being sponsored lives abroad) and the second if if the Prinicipal Applicant is living in Canada.
