Hi Guys,

I got my visas and now getting ready to land in CA. Can anyone advice me whether proof of funds has to be verfied at the port of entry in terms of how much is on the bank statement? Or is this relaxed and not very strict with it?

Dear Friend,

You need to have those dollars in the form of Canadian dollars at Canadian Landing Airport.

Look at the http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

I mean you need to show those dollars are with u.Bank statement is not required nor accepted as POF while landing

Dont take any risks cary your POF at entry port

medicals request recived on 21 may
E Status: in process
done medicals on 03 june
recieved furtherence letters a lot of times and at last medicals cleared on 29th december 2010
Passports again sent along with son's passport on 30th december
