Landing date is date on which i fly from Dubai, My application was as per pre 2008 process so my timelines might not be true reflection of what will be your timeline , in previous process AOR used to be date on which CHC used to start processing application,
Hi Abhi, just wanted to ask what is the date mentioned on the Visa, as I understand the Visa is issued for 1 year from the date of medicals, god forbid if there is a delay in flight and you have booked tickets for the last day landing. I say this because when I went to Australia, my plane was delayed by over a day and there has been case in Europe where there was volcano eruption and the flights were delayed for a few days. So a friendly advice if you have a few days between the landing and last day of the visa. |

Dear friends, I have completed my landing in Vancouver last week, over all experience was good, no hastle, I was not asked about the cash or any thing, I was carrying 22k usd and 45 k cad DD with me which I had declared to customs,before I met the immigration officer, all the forms are filled by officers , although I had prepared the forms myself, my goods accompanied and gods to follow list was stamped by the officer, overall it was smothwas out of airport in 1.5 hrs, there were poRterS but were very expensive 19 cad for 3 bags, I just used trolleys which were readily available, next day went and got the sin number, you can go to any service canada centre, it takes 30 mins. Today is Canada day and good time to be here,
