Apparently they are waiving most of the interviews that were in the queue for interview for some time now, reasons could be they are either out of resource and time or the new conditional PR rule which is about to be in forced very soon. So if there will be interview 2 years after landing in Canada why bother now. So there will only be interview if is very very important.

I have 3 questions to seniors:

1. Why do some people are interviewed while others are not?

2. What is the approximate % of successful candidates were actually interviewed?

3. What is CAIPS?

Hi,

Please can anyone tell me that is there possibility of rejection of visa (before or after interview) if CIA or visa officer  is not satisfied with applicant's spouse's details or past personal/ educational history? Or they are only concerned with applicant's profession?

Spouse Persoanl History: no they not concern about it but ofcourse they will be if s/he has criminal records
Spouse's Educational History: No they are not but if you claming some point for your spouse education then they are concern about it

if VO required futher information personal then S/He might ask for an interview or additional docs , only 0.01% cases need interview... if your case is well presentated you should not be worriied about it ......

Hey guys,
I really need your help.. Well i applied my case back in 2009 from Sweden to CHC London since i am studying here as a student. Last year in dec 2010 I received my Medicals request and RPRF which i submitted in the same month. However now when i was expecting PPR.Upon contacting CHC London through mail I was told that an interview will be required. Now my question is why would they ask for an interview after medicals,PPR and everything!?Is it normal or is it only me?Most of the cases I have gone through now on this website suggests that interview request after medicals are rare? However I am confused since I don't know what might have flagged this interview!I already have ordered My CAIPS. Can u guys suggest what might have caused an interview request at this stage..Has anyone else experienced the same situation of receiving an interview request after medicals.. If Yes kindly let me know about your experiences and what were the primary questions in such interview...

Regards,
Sohail
