Today I got a reply for my second CSE saying that they had misplaced my originals and the "decision letter" and they send them on next available TCS, to me it doesn't sounds good to me, can anybody say that what they mean by "decision letter", although my ecase with UCI shows in-process and still I cannot open my ecase with the new file number

Dear MECH

I have been advised by my consultant based in Dubai that it could be more docs req. like updtd forms, RPRF, PCC or it could be MR directly.

I need to know that what are the consequences of CAIPS if we request to do by our consultant or shall we wait until 3 months.

there is no harm in applying for CAIPS..  they don't affect your application at all as far as i know.. just that you will have to spend few dollars Smiley (5 $ is you have any relative/friend in canada)

Guess you guys can add me to the list as well. Got in process dated 11th april, so will be two months in a weeks time. If it's bad news i'd rather get it now & get this whole indecisive phase over & done with, rather than wait another 6-12 months!

there is no harm in fetching caips at all, u can obtain caips/gcms using ur relative/consultant or any company.

lawpoint.ca charges 30cad, they are the best.

Form 5475, everyone above 18 who is part of application should fill it seperately. not sure about the answer of later but MUST tick access information act.
sure, I will share my CAIPS here.

I am main applicant and while ordering CAIPS, just filled two forms, scanned them and send them through e-mail while paid through paypal (credit card service). My Mrs did not filled the forms. Received the file via mail after about 5 weeks.

Regarding CAIPS, can anyone please confirm that only 2 forms will be submitted:

1. Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM5475E)
2. Access to Information and Personal Information Request  (IMM 5563E)

Also,  it is stated in IMM 5563E that completed form must be submitted to the address given OR EMAIL.  So, we have an option of just emailing the scanned copies of the signed forms...and of course the copy of the credit card payment?

Need to send my request ASAP.....please help....Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just check this link as I used their services and received back my report in about 5 weeks.

http://www.caips.ca

You can pay by Paypal which is the quickest way to process your payment. Paypal is a credit card service but you need to register with them first and is used in online shopping like amazon or e-bay  etc.

Hope it would help.
