I think funds should be in Bank/PF/Share etc and property valuation is not considered as proof of funds
but if this was the case why did the visa officer put my case in process, i do not know this but it is a property that i can sell before going to canada god permits it. I think that is why visa officer is giving the benefit of doubt

i sent case specific inquiry on 8th April and today they replied.
"Thank you for your enquiry. Please be advised that a letter was sent on March 23 to the mailing address on file. We ask that you wait for the mail to arrive before requesting any further information. Yours sincerely, Client Service Unit Immigration and Medical Services Division | Direction de l'immigration et des services médicaux Canadian High Commission | Haut-commissariat du Canada 38 Grosvenor Street London, W1K 4AA | Londres, W1K 4AA United Kingdom | Royaume-Uni
today is 18th and the delay could be due to the mailing system. now what am i suppose to do ? shall i write VO to email me letter path or just to wait and waste time .
problem is that i am going Europe for vacation from 4th of May till june 1st and file address is my office.
my file status is "we reviewed your file and start processing on 13th Mar"
what to do ? any idea what could be in this letter ?
why this letter came from "Immigration and Medical Services Division "

Hi GUys, Few questions - 1. Got a letter from the canadian office Detroit. They requested the right to permanent residence fee USD 490. I have applied for me and my wife for canadian PR. My question is i have to submit just USD 490 or USD 980 ? 2. Does any one know how long it takes to get FBI clearance in the US ? If yes what is the best way to get it done ? 3. How long does it take to get the PCC from the Indian embassy at Washington DC ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks Desiguy79

MOST LIKELY TO NE A MEDICAL REQUEST IF YOU HAVENT SENT ONE ALREADY. I ADVISE YOU TELL SOMEONE TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT WHILST YOU ARE AWAY.

I received my CAIPS report today. It says
PSDEC: 1 (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date) SELDEC: 1 (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date) Points awarded: Age:10, Experience:21, Education:25, Language:14, Adaptability:5 Total: 75 BFD date is 01-06-2012 (Exactly 4 months from the date of In process) IO comments: PA has obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that he/she will be able to become economically established in Canada. I am satisfied that the points awarded to the applicant adequately reflect the applicants ability to settle in Canada. PROOF OF SETTLEMENT FUNDS - MUST BE RE-CONFIRMED (This is in upper case)
ECU Please request the following: - updated proof of funds - PPT's - Meds - RPRF
Though I have sent my RPRF along with the documents and I have a receipt of the same, still the IO is requesting the ECU to request for RPRF. Also, RPRF received is mentioned in the CAIPS report. Also they mentioned that they sent me a receipt for RPRF.
With inprocess dates, we are on track. I hope, nothing to worry about backlog etc. We will reach our goal soon.
