I am separated from my husband for 4 years and live in Canada as a temp worker,, i am about 4 months away from qualifying for my permanent residence. I have been in canada over 2 years , i have been dating a guy for 1.5 years here ,, and i got pregnant  by him .. He is single and i am still technically married ( since i did not want to divorce until i get my permeant residence so it does not affect my application process.
Can my boyfriend marry me ? or sponsor me as a common law?  dependant since this is going to be his child ?If so will this speed up the permeant residence application or complicate it ? I am scared and not sure what to do ..
Anything info helps!! thanks so much

since you are still technically married, my advice is to just apply for permanent residence on your own, you don't want to mess up the 2 hard years you had earned here

Your boyfriend cannot marry you until you have divorced from your first husband.

Have you been living with your boyfriend for at least one full year? He can sponsor you as a common law spouse if you have been living together for at least one full year.
