I have my PR visa now and my husband who sponsored me bought me a ticket already.  My question is, is there a need for me to buy a return ticket too? and do I need to also have some show money even if I am sponsored by my husband?

Why would you buy a return ticket... You are going to live with your husband...that should be the intent...not return back to your country I mean that's what the IO will want to see when you arrive.....
No need to show any money...but if you do bring in $10,000 or more, you have to declare it...! That's it....Just get ready for your new life in Canada!!!

my husband just bought a one way ticket...will this be enough? anyway I was given a Permanent Residence Visa

That's more than enough...infact all u need is your PR Visa and a one way tickt! You can even declare that you are bringing in more stuff at a later date...! So..relax!
