hi there .. i have just arrived in canada as a student for 2012 winter session in centennial college for electromechnical engineering in automation and robotics and till then i am curious to know about cec .... i mean what are the requirments to qualify under cec to apply for PR ... i just want some prior information so that i may not take any wrong step which would make me regret in future when i apply for PR, like do's and don't..
also i am thinking to change my college from centennial to sheridan or humber probably the course also will it have an effect on my case?

The requirements for CEC are here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

Essentially you need to finish your diploma/degree and then complete one year of full time work experience in a skilled occupation. Skilled work experience means:

Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or
Skill Level A (professional occupations) or
Skill Level B (technical occupations and skilled trades)

Changing schools will have no impact on your case.
