I am confused.. please help. If you look at my timeline, am I pre or post? Which is the important date to consider?

You are pre June, 26 applicant....the date you filed application to CIC should be considered. Best of luck.

If you submitted your application on 7th May 10, you are a pre June 10 applicant as post June applicant is considered when appl: received on or after 26th June 10.

Thank you very much. In that case it will take me and my application longer to process in comparison to post 26 June applications..   Sad

Not really since some pre June applicants incurred Visa less than one year even though some haven't been through yet and still in process.Likewise pre June, some post June were granted visa less than one year meanwhile some are still en route.I suppose it is subject to individual's circumstances.
